Rangers ‘Show Kids New York’: One World Observatory
As part of the Rangers 'Show Kids New York' program, Garden of Dreams and the New York Rangers brought 100 children from Garden of Dreams partner organization, Harlem Dowling, to see the One World Observatory with current Rangers players Ondrej Pavelec and Steven Kampfer. Journeying to the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, our Garden of Dreams children along with Pavelec and Kampfer enjoyed watching the sunset over New York City from an incredible, panoramic view.

Garden of Dreams teen Taylor, from Cohen Children’s Medical Center on Long Island, has been actively involved with the Foundation since meeting Rangers legend Adam Graves while receiving treatment in the hospital in 2011. Taylor, who is 15 years old, currently battles a very rare illness which requires constant trials and specialized chemo treatments to help doctors assess possible treatments. Taylor was introduced to Garden of Dreams through a hospital visit with Rangers legend Adam Graves at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. Rangers ‘Show Kids New York’: Museum of Math
This month, Garden of Dreams and the New York Rangers teamed up to bring 100 children from partner organization, Children's Aid, to the Museum of Mathematics. With Rangers players Jesper Fast and Boo Nieves, our Garden of Dreams children learned all about math through dynamic exhibits and programs, some of which were customized to incorporate hockey!

On October 11th, the New York Rangers and Garden of Dreams hosted 500 kids for a 'Show Kids New York' event at LIFE: The Place to Be in Westchester. Rangers players Brendan Smith and Steven Kampfer along with alumni Tom Laidlaw and Ron Greschner joined in on the fun as well. There were tons of activities for the children and players to participate in, including laser tag, gaga pit, bowling, photo booths, and inflatable bouncy houses.
There was not a dull moment for the kids, who were from Garden of Dreams partner organizations Children's Aid Society, Police Athletic League, Madison Square Boys and Girls... Read More

Garden of Dreams teen Taylor, from Cohen Children's Medical Center on Long Island, has been actively involved with the Foundation since meeting Rangers legend Adam Graves while receiving treatment in the hospital in 2011.
Since the hospital visit, Taylor has participated in various Garden of Dreams events including a personalized Make-A-Dream Come True experience with Adam Graves, the Rangers Delta Fan Flight and the Garden of Dreams Delta Holiday in the Hanger celebration. Taylor, who has formed lasting friendships with many players on the team including Dan Girardi, also participated in Blueshirts Off Our Back and the puck drop for 2015 Hockey Fights Cancer night.
