During the annual Garden of Dreams Week, the Garden of Dreams Foundation comes together with The Madison Square Garden Company and MSG Networks, Inc. to use the power and magic of MSG and MSG Networks – including the Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, Rockettes, famed showplaces and two sports and entertainment networks – to brighten the lives of children and their families. Throughout the week, children from across the tri-state area become honorary members of the Knicks and Rangers, participate in game-night activities and learn choreography from the world-renowned Rockettes. 2017 Garden of Dreams Inspire Scholarship Recipients
Currently in its third year, the Garden of Dreams Inspire Scholarship is an exclusive scholarship opportunity for high school seniors affiliated with the Garden of Dreams Foundation. Each year, a minimum of 12 students are selected to receive $10,000 renewable scholarships. In 2017, additional scholarships of up to $25,000 per year were introduced. Giving Program- NYU Tablet Celebration
As part of the Foundation’s Giving program, Garden of Dreams and enCourage Kids Foundation teamed up to deliver 100 tablets to Garden of Dreams partner hospitals including NYU Langone Medical Center, made possible with a $150,000 grant presented to enCourage Kids from Garden of Dreams. Yesterday, New York Knicks great John Starks, New York Rangers legend Rod Gilbert, and the Rockettes visited our children at NYU Hassenfeld for fun and games with the tablets! This year, the annual Garden of Dreams Talent Show celebrated the Foundation’s 10th anniversary with a “Decade of Dreams.” Over 100 children and teens put their troubles aside and performed on the legendary "Great Stage" at Radio City Music Hall.
After auditions, the Talent Show performers prepared for their big night with several rehearsals hosted in Radio City’s large rehearsal hall where the famous Rockettes prepare for their performances.
