PromGirl Shopping Experience

In preparation for the Garden of Dreams Prom, PromGirl hosted an exclusive shopping experience at their superstore in Secaucus for our prom attendees to find the dress of their dreams. With support from the PromGirl team, Garden of Dreams Prom Chairwoman Damaris Lewis, Ubah Hassan, Deidre Nesteruk, Eleni Tsavousis, Heide Lindgren, Alejandra Cata, and Tatiana Rafter helped the girls find their perfect dress and shoes. 2018 Talent Show Rehearsal #2

The second "Together We Dream" Talent Show rehearsal featured some special guests for our Talent Show performers, who got the chance to rehearse in front of celebrity coaches. In attendance were The Rockettes, The Voice finalist Wé McDonald, model and actress Damaris Lewis, 13 Reasons Why star Christian Navarro, and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin ready to help mentor the performers as they prepare for their big day. Knicks Dr. Seuss Event

In celebration of Read Across America Day, sixty Garden of Dreams children from partner Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation traveled to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The children enjoyed a morning filled with reading and learning- Knicks alumni John Starks read What Should I Get For A Pet, actor Justin Long read The Cat in The Hat and New York Times bestselling author Chris Grabenstein read Oh The Places You'll Go to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Knicks Halloween Event at Lyndhurst Mansion
On October 26th, the New York Knicks and Garden of Dreams hosted 50 children from Garden of Dreams partner organization SCAN, Supporting Children’s Advocacy Network, at the Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, New York. When they arrived, the kids had a pizza party where they played the board game, Clue, dressed up in Halloween costumes, and danced with their friends. The kids were then surprised by Knicks player Ramon Sessions and Knicks alum Larry Johnson, who accompanied the children on the tour of the hauntedmansion.
