Through the Garden of Dreams Giving program, the Foundation helps its partner organizations through the direct support of scholarships and long-lasting community projects such as the refurbishment of pediatric areas at local hospitals, basketball courts and community centers.
In 2015, Garden of Dreams began its scholarship program to annually award high school seniors from its partner organizations with the Garden of Dreams Inspire Scholarship. Garden of Dreams has awarded over $2.5 million in college scholarships to deserving students in the tri-state area.
The Garden of Dreams Giving program also commits to help its partner organizations with community projects. Completed Garden of Dreams projects include: a floor-to-ceiling gymnasium refurbishment at SCO Family Services; a remodeled pediatric outpatient welcome area at Hackensack University Medical Center; an enhanced emergency department at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital; and a state-of-the-art audio and video recording studio at Children’s Village.The Foundation looks forward to many more vital civic enhancements in the years to come.
