MSG Classroom Wins Big at the Faxie Awards!

Our kids won big at the prestigious Cablefax “Faxie” awards last month. The MSG Networks’ MSG Classroom program won first place in the Community Relations Category for continuing its great work through the pandemic.
This long-standing mentorship program works with MSG Networks to show students interested in entertainment the ins and outs of sports broadcasting. Each week for 2 months, participants visit MSG Networks with a new task to tackle to create an original production. They have hands-on learning experiences with Networks employees, private studio tours, and meetings with industry professionals. These students then work together to take what they have learned and produce a television segment of their own – from script creation to interviews and editing. This program has been running for 13 years and graduates have gone on to have successful careers in entertainment.
This is another great moment for this amazing program that has mentored hundreds of young people since the inception of Garden of Dreams. Watch the video that highlights this great honor and Angela Vasquez, a current MSG Classroom Student, making a heartfelt acceptance speech!
