Wall of dreams

In celebration of Read Across America Day, sixty Garden of Dreams children from partner Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation traveled to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.  The children enjoyed a morning filled with reading and learning- Knicks alumni John Starks read What Should I Get For A Pet, actor Justin Long read The Cat in The Hat and New York Times bestselling author Chris Grabenstein read Oh The Places You’ll Go to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  The kids had the opportunity to interact with the special guests as well as complete some fun activities based on the books. At the end of the event, each child went home with a Dr. Seuss book, gift bag, and Dr. Seuss hat!
