Garden of Dreams Celebrates “Hockey Fights Cancer Night” 2021
On November 21st, 2021, Garden of Dreams and the New York Rangers came together to celebrate the annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night at the Rangers game. This special evening featured several Garden of Dreams young people across different in-arena elements. Daniela celebrated the end of her cancer treatment at Cohen Children’s Medical Center when she performed the ceremonial puck drop. Bianca, a three-time cancer survivor from Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, stunned with a beautiful national anthem performance, while Oscar, from NYU Medical Center, got to practice his PA skills as our honorary PA announcer.
This impactful night also included a “Moments of Joy” experience for Bryce, a 3-year-old cancer survivor from New Jersey. Bryce’s family got to watch pregame warm-ups from the penalty box and partake in a live shot highlighted on MSG Networks while enjoying the game from a suite donated by Rangers player Artemi Panarin.
