PromGirl Shopping Experience
In preparation for the Garden of Dreams Prom, PromGirl hosted an exclusive shopping experience at their superstore in Secaucus for our prom attendees to find the dress of their dreams. With support from the PromGirl team, Garden of Dreams Prom Chairwoman Damaris Lewis, Ubah Hassan, Deidre Nesteruk, Eleni Tsavousis, Heide Lindgren, Alejandra Cata, and Tatiana Rafter helped the girls find their perfect dress and shoes. In celebration of Read Across America Day, sixty Garden of Dreams children from partner Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation traveled to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Eric from Make-A-Wish New York fulfilled his wish when he met his favorite basketball player, Kristaps Porzingis. As part of his wish experience, Eric met Kristaps Porzingis and the rest of the New York Knicks when he attended the Knicks Bowl with his family. They spent the whole night bowling and mingling with the players.
The next day, Eric and his family were invited to come to The Garden to watch the Knicks take on Chicago.
