Junior

Junior, from Garden of Dreams partner organization WHEDco, was first introduced to Garden of Dreams when he visited the Garden for a New York Knicks game last spring and met Kristaps Porzingis before the game. This past fall, Junior sat courtside for the Knicks Open Practice, where he received Carmelo Anthony's jersey as part of the 'Knickerbocker Assist', and also visited the Empire State Building with Knicks alumni John Starks, Larry Johnson, and Bernard King. In December, Junior and his family joined the Knicks for the Knicks Holiday Shopping Spree at Target.

Rachel and Maya

Rachel credits her younger sister Maya as being her unbreakable support system and their bond of singing as a way to help Rachel deal with her surgeries. After seeing her sister in the hospital, Maya now wants to pursue a career in medicine.
