On June 25th, 30 student associates from Madison Square Garden and MSG Networks gathered at one of the Foundation’s partner organizations, Sunrise Day Camp, to help prepare the Pearl River camp for its summer campers. Sunrise Day Camp is a day camp for children with cancer and their siblings.

During the spring 2018 semester, Garden of Dreams teens from our partner, WHEDco, participated in the MSG Classroom program, a collaboration with MSG Networks that teaches kids about the behind-the-scenes world of the television industry. Over the course of eight weeks, the students have the opportunity to meet with different professionals from MSG Networks and The Madison Square Garden Company to learn about various jobs within the company and gain insight into the many career opportunities available within the television industry. Each year, the Garden of Dreams Foundation hosts an annual Talent Show at Radio City Music Hall, providing children, who have faced various obstacles, with the opportunity to perform on the Great Stage.
This year as part of the "Bridge to Your Dreams" Talent Show, over 150 kids from 15 of our partner organizations took the stage. The magical night included introductions by celebrities like Justin Hartley from the NBC series This Is Us, rappers Remy Ma and Papoose, and actor Ansel Elgort. Garden of Laughs was an all-star night of comedy hosted by Steve Schirripa featuring performances by Jerry Seinfeld along with Bill Burr, Michael Che, John Mulaney, Brian Regan, Iliza Shlesinger, and Jon Stewart at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden! This year, the bi-annual comedy event raised nearly $2 million for the Foundation, increasing the total to $7 million since its inception.
