“Bridge to Your Dreams” Talent Show
Each year, the Garden of Dreams Foundation hosts an annual Talent Show at Radio City Music Hall, providing children, who have faced various obstacles, with the opportunity to perform on the Great Stage.
This year as part of the “Bridge to Your Dreams” Talent Show, over 150 kids from 15 of our partner organizations took the stage. The magical night included introductions by celebrities like Justin Hartley from the NBC series This Is Us, rappers Remy Ma and Papoose, and actor Ansel Elgort. To open the show, the Foundation’s alumni choir with mentor Wé McDonald, brought the Radio City Music Hall audience to their feet with Aretha Franklin’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” With alumni from the past 12 years and choreography by the Rockettes, our choir set the stage for a magical evening.
Then to conclude the show, everyone came together for one big, confetti-filled finale, singing “High Hopes” by Panic! at the Disco. Throughout the night, our performers wowed the audience with their songs, dances and inspirational stories. Thank you to everyone who supported these incredible youth as they embarked on their first steps on the bridge to their dreams!
