Our Garden of Dreams young people took over The Garden for Garden of Dreams Nights on Monday, December 16 at the Rangers game and Tuesday, December 17 at the Knicks game. From singing the National Anthem, performing at halftime and dropping the puck to being an honorary player, musician or game director, the Foundation’s young people experienced once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that they will cherish forever.

This November, the New York Rangers and New York Knicks both hosted Thanksgiving Dinners with Garden of Dreams, serving 250 children and families at each dinner from the NYC Department of Homeless Services.
The Rangers held their Thanksgiving Dinner at SPIN NYC, a ping pong social club in Manhattan. Rangers players Adam Fox, Brett Howden, and Greg McKegg joined to help serve dinner and to interact with the families. With lots of activities to choose from including life size Jenga and UNO, video games, interactive photo booth, and of course ping pong, our Garden of Dreams young people had a blast throughout the night.

Garden of Dreams child Carter had her wish fulfilled to spend the day with the Rockettes! Carter learned the famous Rockettes bevel, received an official Rockettes headband, and toured Radio City Music Hall.

Throughout Miles' life, music has been an important outlet. When performing, he has been able to overcome his struggles. Self-taught, Miles, from SCO Family of Services, has been playing the guitar for seven years. By learning from his idols, which include Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars and Prince, Miles aspires to be one of the greatest performers alive. Miles performed his original piece "Running Mascara" at the 2018 Garden of Dreams Talent Show at Radio City.

Not only do the all-star players get to hone their skills with top training, but they also learn from current Knicks and Rangers players as well as alumni and coaching staff. On June 25th, 30 student associates from Madison Square Garden and MSG Networks gathered at one of the Foundation’s partner organizations, Sunrise Day Camp, to help prepare the Pearl River camp for its summer campers. Sunrise Day Camp is a day camp for children with cancer and their siblings.
The day opened with Eddie, a Garden of Dreams Inspire Scholarship recipient, speaking about his fond memories with Garden of Dreams and his time as a camp counselor at Sunrise-Staten Island. “Bridge to Your Dreams” Talent Show

Each year, the Garden of Dreams Foundation hosts an annual Talent Show at Radio City Music Hall, providing children, who have faced various obstacles, with the opportunity to perform on the Great Stage.
This year as part of the "Bridge to Your Dreams" Talent Show, over 150 kids from 15 of our partner organizations took the stage. The magical night included introductions by celebrities like Justin Hartley from the NBC series This Is Us, rappers Remy Ma and Papoose, and actor Ansel Elgort. Garden of Laughs 2019

Garden of Laughs was an all-star night of comedy hosted by Steve Schirripa featuring performances by Jerry Seinfeld along with Bill Burr, Michael Che, John Mulaney, Brian Regan, Iliza Shlesinger, and Jon Stewart at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden! This year, the bi-annual comedy event raised nearly $2 million for the Foundation, increasing the total to $7 million since its inception.
