Wall of Dreams

Junior, from Garden of Dreams partner organization WHEDco, was first introduced to Garden of Dreams when he visited the Garden for a New York Knicks game last spring and met Kristaps Porzingis before the game. This past fall, Junior sat courtside for the Knicks Open Practice, where he received Carmelo Anthony's jersey as part of the 'Knickerbocker Assist', and also visited the Empire State Building with Knicks alumni John Starks, Larry Johnson, and Bernard King. In December, Junior and his family joined the Knicks for the Knicks Holiday Shopping Spree at Target. 

Garden of Dreams and the New York Rangers welcomed Bryce from New York Presbyterian Hospital to The Garden for a special surprise...to be signed as an Honorary Coach for the Day!

Garden of Dreams teen Michael from Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York received a personal invite to The Garden from New York Knicks Derrick Rose and he was able to live out his wish to meet Rose & become an honorary Knick!

MSG Classroom student, Titus from Foundation partner organization Children's Aid Society, shared his recent experience shadowing MSG Networks Studio Host, Bill Pidto:

On March 28, 2017, Garden of Laughs presented by Delta Air Lines returned to The Theater at MSG for a night of stand-up comedy to benefit The Garden of Dreams Foundation! Hosted by Steve Schirripa, the night featured the biggest stars in comedy coming together to support making dreams come true for children facing obstacles.

On Tuesday night of Garden of Dreams Week. the New York Rangers recognized the Foundation as part of Garden of Dreams Night at The Garden! Honorary Coach Bryce, who signed with the team Tuesday morning, got his first win with the New York Rangers and our  Garden of Dreams children brought the Rangers fans to their feet with the National Anthem, Honorary Blue Crew, Stick Kids, Guest Game Director and Honorary Starting Lineup! Garden of Dreams Week kicked off with Garden of Dreams night at the New York Knicks game! After signing with the team Monday afternoon, Garden of Dreams and Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York teen Michael warmed up with his new teammates before their game against Oklahoma City Thunder. Garden of Dreams children also participated in many of the in-game experiences including the National Anthem, honorary PA announcers, fan tunnel, game ball delivery, honorary Knicks City Dancer, and halftime performances. As part of the Foundation’s Giving program, Garden of Dreams and enCourage Kids Foundation teamed up to deliver 100 tablets to Garden of Dreams partner hospitals including NYU Langone Medical Center, made possible with a $150,000 grant presented to enCourage Kids from Garden of Dreams. Yesterday, New York Knicks great John Starks, New York Rangers legend Rod Gilbert, and the Rockettes visited our children at NYU Hassenfeld for fun and games with the tablets!
