The New York Rangers and Garden of Dreams Foundation annual Children’s Coat Drive is one of the most impactful community relations efforts the team organizes each year. What makes this initiative so special is that the Rangers community truly pulls together, from the players and alumni, to the rink and corporate partners and of course, the loyal Rangers fans, all with the common goal of keeping New York’s children warm throughout the winter.

Coaches Challenge: The Rematch
On Tuesday, November 1, New York Rangers head coach John Tortorella and New York Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni hosted 28 children from WHEDco, a Garden of Dreams partner organization, to participate in the 2nd Annual Coaches Challenge held at the MSG Training Center.
Sneak Peak: Footloose!
Garden of Dreams teens were guests of the Knicks City Dancers and Liberty Timeless Torches at a special advance screening of the movie Footloose to hit theaters this Fall, October 14.

Rangers Launch Party
On Thursday, September 29, the New York Rangers and the Garden of Dreams Foundation hosted their fifth annual "Season Launch Party" to kick off the Rangers 2011-2012 hockey season at SCO Family of Services. The celebration was filled with fun, games, and hockey alongside Rangers greats, Nick Fotiu and Brian Mullen!
