On Wednesday, June 17, Tiffany Jackson and Essence Carson of the New York Liberty joined more than 30 youth from the Children's Village for an outdoor basketball clinic in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

Players joined children in an array of basketball activities including layup lines, jump shots and three-point contests. A friendly "contest" ensued with Jackson and Carson encouraging their respective teams to dominate the competition. Losing squads had to pay the price of defeat by completing five pushups each, much to the delight of the victorious team.

"It's great to be here and just see the kids have fun," said the Liberty's Jackson.

Following the hour-long clinic, participants enjoyed a pizza party with Jackson and Carson who also helped distribute Liberty gift bags and t-shirts to each child.
