MSG Classroom is an award-winning educational program that helps New York City-area high school students learn about the media industry and develop the skills needed to pursue future careers in television.
The MSG Classroom curriculum consists of eight weekly, two-hour sessions in which the students work alongside a different department from MSG Networks, including production, promotions, marketing, sales and public relations, to gain insight and knowledge from industry leaders. As each week passes, the students apply the skills they have acquired to developing and producing their own special television feature with the assistance from the MSG Networks staff. At the conclusion of the program, the students present their project to MSG Networks executives and employees as well as friends
and family members.
